NATIONAL BANK OF ARIZONA, WILLIAMS

Loven Contracting partnered with National Bank of Arizona for an interior and exterior restoration of the old Babbit’s Building located in Williams, Arizona. The scope of work included an entirely new interior, walls, and finishes as well as major structural upgrades, repairs, and new utilities installations.

Loven Contracting worked closely with the Historical Preservation Review Board of the City of Williams to restore the exterior stucco and paint to its original façade. A challenge of the project involved the condition of the existing bricks being inadequate for the new stucco finish. Loven Contracting utilized spray concrete tools to produce a smooth and flat stucco finish.

Loven Contracting provided all preconstruction services, design, budgeting and construction under our agreement with National Bank. With review of the original design, we were able to provide value engineering alternatives to preserve the client’s budget and complete the work on a tight schedule.

METEOR CRATER MULTI-PHASE REMODEL

Loven Contracting completed a 3,000SF addition in conjunction with the Meteor Crater Natural Landmark‘s Visitor Center’s interior and exterior renovations in Winslow, Arizona. Originally designed by renowned architect Phillip Johnson and constructed at the site of a meteor impact berm in 1961, the revitalized visitor center features a contemporary lobby, reception area, gift shop, and a retail and ticketing center. Additional hardscape and landscaping enhancements were included to improve visitor circulation.

Loven Contracting developed management and safety plans that allowed for minimal impact on business functions and visitor experiences. Meteor Crater remained open to the public throughout the entire project, enabling visitors to this Northern Arizona landmark to enjoy the site unimpeded.
