Loven Contracting partnered with long-time client Martin Automotive Group to construct a 75,223SF state-of-the-art automotive dealership in Flagstaff, Arizona.
The architectural masonry facility is equipped with advanced technology features, including standard and oversized van lifts, ultra-durable Clinker tile, and an under-slab car exhaust system. Other features include interior glass walls and glass doors with in-floor door closers and full-height hardware throughout, as well as a machine room-less elevator to increase useable square footage.
The Mercedes-Benz of Flagstaff features two distinct climate control zones in the service and customer/office areas to enhance staff and customer comfort. To maximize cost savings, Loven Contracting worked closely with the architects to successfully adapt the specialized dealership architecture from electric to gas heat to align with Northern Arizona’s climate demands and produce significant long-term savings for the owner.
The project site also features three underground storm retention fields to maximize available parking space for the dealership. Loven Contracting installed LED lighting technology that complies with Flagstaff’s Dark Sky City ordinance while also minimizing lighting costs.
Loven Contracting completed a 3,500SF remodel of the Terry Marxen Dealership that reconfigured and upgraded all customer amenities. Our team remodeled and established new structural elements for 3,500SF of sales, administration, accounting, cashier and parts showroom. In addition, Loven Contracting modified the showroom’s roof framing to reconfigure drainage and receive TPO roofing membrane assembly. The dealership remained open all throughout the remodel.
Loven Contracting constructed the 25,000SF Findlay Honda automotive dealership in Flagstaff, Arizona. A structural masonry building utilizing concrete slab-on-grade construction, the Findlay in Flagstaff, AZ includes a 3,500SF showroom, a 4-bay quick lube center, a 5,700SF, 10-bay service center garage, and a spacious parking lot with 240 available spaces. All spaces of this dealership incorporate national brand standards. Loven Contracting is experienced in working within manufacturer requirements for a timely delivery of automotive projects.
Loven Contracting completed construction on the facility under budget despite fuel, asphalt, and other cost escalations throughout the project. This was achieved through providing Findlay Honda with value engineering and cost estimating services that kept the project affordable.
Loven Contracting constructed the structural masonry Peak Mazda Dealership in Flagstaff, Arizona. Scope of services on the Mazda facility included a 3,000SF showroom, a 4-bay quick lube center, a 3,300SF, 9-bay service center garage, and a parking lot with 190 available parking space for vehicles. The automotive dealership was constructed through concrete slab-on-grade construction.
The Peak Mazda Dealership featured several offices, customer lounge areas, a customer café, a retail store, service department, and interior showroom, all of which incorporate national brand standards.
