Loven Contracting partnered with long-time client Martin Automotive Group to construct a 75,223SF state-of-the-art automotive dealership in Flagstaff, Arizona.
The architectural masonry facility is equipped with advanced technology features, including standard and oversized van lifts, ultra-durable Clinker tile, and an under-slab car exhaust system. Other features include interior glass walls and glass doors with in-floor door closers and full-height hardware throughout, as well as a machine room-less elevator to increase useable square footage.
The Mercedes-Benz of Flagstaff features two distinct climate control zones in the service and customer/office areas to enhance staff and customer comfort. To maximize cost savings, Loven Contracting worked closely with the architects to successfully adapt the specialized dealership architecture from electric to gas heat to align with Northern Arizona’s climate demands and produce significant long-term savings for the owner.
The project site also features three underground storm retention fields to maximize available parking space for the dealership. Loven Contracting installed LED lighting technology that complies with Flagstaff’s Dark Sky City ordinance while minimizing lighting costs.
